Chest congestion can happen in young and old and at any age.
This happens due to mucus formation in the air track.
Heavy coughing and chest pain happens due to the above reason.
Take half lemon.
Sprinkle dry ginger powder (sonth in hindi) on the wet surface.
Roast the lemon, preferably on coal fire. You can also roast in kitchen gas.
Suck the juice out of the lemon and gulp it down.
This creates ample heating around the chest. This will help mucus to loosen and seep out. The mucus will travel out of the body through the food track. No cough will come out from nose or mouth. This remedy is to be used only once a day till the coughing subsides.
